We are proud to have hosted the group “Neskoreni.”
About 20 children traveled from Kharkiv, Ukraine, to offer us moving moments through their talent in singing, dance, and acrobatics.
“Neskoreni” is a project that brings together award-winning artistic ensembles, with the aim of giving these children a breath away from war and reminding them that they are children.
Because the reality they live in is harsh. Children who still wake up in the middle of the night to run to shelters. And yet, they step onto the stage with smiles and strength.
The evening concluded with the national anthem and a prayer from the Ukrainian community for peace.
A heartfelt thank you to the Deputy Head of Mission of the British Embassy, Robyn Goldsmith, for her warm greeting, and to the Deputy Head of Mission of the Estonian Embassy, Piret Nõmmela, for their support and contribution to the transportation of the children.
At the end, the children could not hold back their tears… Perhaps because, for a moment, they experienced a reality of peace—and wished it could last a little longer.
