A few years ago, my husband came to Thessaloniki, and while I was in Iran he had an affair. After a while, I found him in Athens and soon I became pregnant. Then I found out about the relationship he had with another woman, and I felt devastated. For many weeks I went to your Center in tears and shared with the staff the embarrassing situation I was experiencing.
All week I waited for my medical appointment to arrive, and afterwards I sat with the staff for an extra hour and talked. I asked them to pray for me and my family and they did so while explaining the importance of forgiveness.
One time my husband decided to accompany me to the Center, and he was congratulated by the staff for his beautiful family and his good wife - which was very encouraging! He had now realized his mistake and was apologizing to me. Similarly for me, the hope, support and confidentiality I received here were what gave me the strength to forgive him.
Once I turned 8.5 months pregnant, we all left together for Germany, and I gave birth there on that same day. You are the reason my marriage didn't fall apart and now I live happily with my husband and two children."
