Fivos: The missionary who loves Peru

"Whatever you sow, you reap..." says the Bible and this is the reality of the EIE missionary Fivos Mandagiozis, who lives in Lima, Peru. He sows love and reaps love!

12 years ago the young Greek, who grew up in Germany, took a trip across the Atlantic and within 3 months discovered a new "homeland.” Although he has experienced difficulties, he has become very attached to the locals, who now feel like family. He also enjoys the local food, which he finds delicious!

Fivos’ daily life is filled with children, who think endlessly about play, and teenagers, who are desperate for some attention and conversation.

He is currently hosting a 3-year-old child and two teenagers, aged 14 and 15, who come from deeply troubled families. Now, these children have found a safe haven in the home of the welcoming missionary with his big smile and big heart. Along the way, Fivos cooks for the homeless and cares for drug addicts, leading them to rehab centers and then encouraging them through a course called "Celebrating Recovery."

Fivos has only one concern: opening doors to share God's love with as many people as he can in this place that has "stolen" his heart.
